Browse currently available varieties →Chandler Blueberry is a northern highbush variety known for producing some of the largest berries of any blueberry cultivar. It generally grows well in USDA zones 4 to 7 and is a strong choice for growers who want very large fruit, good cold hardiness, and a harvest that lasts longer than many other varieties. Chandler is especially valued for its extended ripening season, which can stretch for several weeks instead of producing all at once.
This variety prefers full sun, acidic well-drained soil, and steady moisture for best performance. The berries are often described as extra large with good fresh-eating quality, making Chandler a popular option for home growers who want impressive fruit size as well as dependable production. While it can produce fruit on its own, planting it near another northern highbush blueberry variety is often recommended to improve pollination and support a heavier crop.

How we ship
Most orders go out via UPS with a 2-3 day transit time to most of the continental U.S. Plants are shipped dormant in late winter / early spring, packed wet to protect the root systems, and bundled by variety so they're ready to plant on arrival.
Hawaii & Alaska orders
For HI and AK addresses we ship via USPS. The other major carriers either don't service these areas for live plants or charge prohibitive rates that would more than double the cost of your order. USPS gives us a reliable, affordable path to get plants to you in good condition.
Want UPS or FedEx anyway?
If you're in HI or AK and want to use UPS or FedEx and cover the upgraded shipping cost, reach out to us immediately after placing your order with your order number. We'll send you the available options and a quote, and you can pick what works for you.
