Lowest Price on Choctaw Blackberry Plants
Choctaw is a thorny, very erect blackberry bred at the University of Arkansas by James N. Moore and John R. Clark, from a cross of Arkansas selection 526 and Rosborough made at Clarksville in 1975 (US Plant Patent 6,678). It was picked for how early it ripens, about a week ahead of Cheyenne, with the first berries around May 25 in central Arkansas and the last around June 18. The glossy black berries average 5.5 grams, with small seeds and a mildly acid flavor the patent rates above both Cheyenne and Shawnee. It's vigorous and immune to orange rust, and the patent says it does well across the South but isn't cold hardy in northern states.

How this list works
Every row is one thing you can put in a cart: one seller, one size, one pack. The list is sorted by the delivered price per plant, which is the price plus shipping divided by the number of plants, so a 25 pack and a single plant can be compared directly.
Bare root and potted plants sit in the same list. Use the plant type buttons to see only one kind.
Every price has shipping added, as if you bought that one listing by itself. Where a seller posts its shipping rule, that rule is used. Where a seller only shows shipping at checkout, the figure is an estimate set on the high side and marked "Est.", so hidden shipping never beats posted shipping.
Our own plants are in the list under the same math, on the rows shaded green.
