Because plants are living, perishable products, we handle returns a little differently than standard retail items. Our goal is simple: if a plant is truly defective, we will work with you to make it right.
We accept returns for defective plants for up to 30 days from the date your order is marked delivered.
A plant may be considered “defective” if, after reasonable care and normal conditions, it shows clear signs of being non-viable or unhealthy due to a product issue (not weather, neglect, or planting conditions).
To start a return request, please contact us with:
Your order number
The plant name(s)
A brief description of the issue
Clear photos (whole plant, close-ups, and the packaging if relevant)
The faster you reach out after noticing a problem, the easier it is for us to help.
Please do not ship anything back until you receive return instructions from us. Live plants can be damaged in transit if returned incorrectly, so we may provide specific packing and shipping guidance.
The buyer may be responsible for return shipping costs.
Return shipping postage is decided case by case.
After we review your request, we will let you know whether:
You will ship the return at your cost, or
We will provide a prepaid label or another arrangement (when appropriate)
Once your return is approved (and if a return shipment is required, once it is received and inspected), we will resolve the issue in one of the following ways:
Replacement plant (when available)
Refund to the original payment method
Store credit (if preferred or if replacement is not available)
Refunds are typically processed within a few business days after approval/inspection, depending on your bank or card issuer.
This policy does not cover issues caused by conditions outside our control, including:
Improper planting, watering, or care after delivery
Extreme weather events (heat, frost, storms) after delivery
Soil, pest, or disease conditions at the planting site
Normal transplant shock (temporary droop or slow growth after planting)
Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect plant health (minor leaf damage, scuffs, etc.)
Delays, loss, or damage caused solely by the carrier (we will still try to help you file a claim when applicable)
If we request a return, plants must be returned in the condition outlined in the return instructions. Items returned without authorization may not be eligible for a refund.
If you received the wrong item or there’s an issue with your order, contact us and we will help correct it as quickly as possible.
